Camp Standing Stone

Each summer, our staff members’ children participate in our day camp, or Camp Standing Stone as we call it. Our campers get to interact with our residents and participate in various activities, such as gardening and playing corn hole with the help of our terrific camp director, Samantha.  This year we are already off to a great start as our residents and little campers are getting to know each other and forming lasting bonds and friendships.  Some campers even refer to our residents as their adopted grandmas and grandpas.

This intergenerational program allows for our campers to learn about our residents, as well as appreciate the guidance and wisdom they have to offer.  Our residents in turn enjoy the time they get to spend with all the campers.  We are so excited for our campers and our residents, as each year it just gets better and better.
